Since September, the 24-year-old has been trekking south and west across the Chinese heartland, along rumbling highways, around construction sites, down dusty streets. She stops along the way to send letters to local officials. Her plea: China must change the way it handles sex abuse.

It took 17 high schoolers, eight mentors from Kansas City and a 1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia to create the first ever social media powered car. The concept was to bring MINDDRIVE to life with tweets, posts, shares and likes which were monitored by an Arduino device. This open-source, single-board microcontroller triggered the vehicle’s motor based on the number of tweets and posts about the project.

Under the guise of attending the "Timothy Convention", forty people explored back passages and service areas, interacted with unsuspecting hotel guests, infiltrated official hotel events like the Annual Disney Service Awards, and solved historic clues that led to birthday cake on the roof.
