The streets of the Cairo suburb Manshiyat Naser, nicknamed "Garbage City," are lined with trash, and the people who live there — Coptic Christians who make their living sorting through it and recycling anything they can — are called zabaleen, or "garbage people."

“Nude” and “vulnerable” aren’t words commonly used to describe Arab males. But that’s how Tamara Abdul Hadi pictures them—literally—in the project Picture an Arab Man. With the goal of breaking the stereotype of Arab men as violent and dangerous, Abdul Hadi has traveled during the past three years to countries including Egypt, Palestine, and Yemen to photograph semi-naked men.

Beating Cancer is a hard task. Cancer patients spend endless days in the hospital receiving a multitude of tolling treatments that we understand are necessary to save our lives. However, when you're a kid, it isn't always so easy to understand what's going on. As the chemo kills bad cancer cells, it also kills good cells in your body, which causes various unpleasant side effects.
