Deportation Class is a satirical project by European anti-deportation activists protesting European airlines who agreed to cooperate with deportation agendas. Together, these airlines are referred to as the Deportation Alliance. The activists designed a faux luxury offering on behalf of each airline, showcasing the attractive perks of flying "deportation class."

Artist Luke Jerram created a genderless sleeping figure made of glass lying on a piece of cardboard and exhibited in the streets of London. The artist said in an interview "For every person you see sleeping on the streets, there are many others sleeping in hostels, squats and other forms of unsatisfactory and insecure accommodation.

The 21st annual Environmental Film Festival is being held in Washington DC from March 12 to March 24, 2013. Shining a spotlight on environmental issues and eco-activism, the festival features films that are both directly and tangentially related to concerns for the natural world.

This project was made by the foundation Obra Social la Caixa with the intention to change the conversation and strategies while working with youngsters. Before this initiative, say the Director Claudio Zulian, the foundation would speak only about the lives of these girls and boys. However, they decided to involve them inside other stories as actors of a film project.

Conquest is a compelling new collective performance conceived by acclaimed artist Pope.L (b. Newark, 1955). It is inspired by his iconic solo crawls, where the artist dragged himself across a number of different urban landscapes. Navigating the streets and parks of Downtown Manhattan, Conquest extends this irreverent and provocative forty-year tradition of public performance with an ambitious group crawl involving over 140 volunteers.

Bands that follow the movement include Bikini Kill, Bratmobile, Jack Off Jill, Bratmobile, Adickdid, The Butchies, Heavens to Betsy, Huggy Bear, Bangs, and Calamity Jane, amongst others.
