On a now defunct MMO, users rallied together under a fake religion to protest religious groups proselytizing on the messageboards.

"Myanmar has been engulfed in protest since February 1, when Burmese army general Min Aung Hlaing seized control of the government in a military coup, refusing to accept to the landslide election victory of the National League for Democracy and its leader, Aung San Suu Kyi.

Deportation Class is a satirical project by European anti-deportation activists protesting European airlines who agreed to cooperate with deportation agendas. Together, these airlines are referred to as the Deportation Alliance. The activists designed a faux luxury offering on behalf of each airline, showcasing the attractive perks of flying "deportation class."

In Halt, a new solo piece premiered at NYU Gallatin, dancer and choreographer Jamar Roberts examined the language of the body in protest. The work focuses on what it means for human beings-the committed individual and the organized collective- to be equally the subjects of progressive change and the targets of unjust corporeal punishment.

ArtistsActivists is a youth empowerment and advocacy organization started in 2011 by graduate students at Yale University. Through the various ArtistsActivists programs, artists and designers share their skills with young people around the world. Since more people are joining our team bringing with them certain skills and project ideas, the Artists Activists mission is constantly evolving.

Yu Hong’s Female Writer, a painted and photographic portrait of the writer Zhao Bo 趙波 (b. 1971), recalls courtly images of idealized beauties. Yu, however, deliberately complicates the perspective in her composition: she asked the sitters for her She series to select photographs of themselves that could be paired with her paintings, meaning that the images together convey dual female perspectives, both the artist’s and the subject’s.

Dismaland was an experimental and interactive art installation that mimicked and mocked similar attractions and characters of the Disney franchise. He later referred to it as a ‘bemusement park.’ Although the bemusement park seemed to disappear as suddenly as it arrived, the exhibition lives on in the collective memory of the British public.

Festival “WakEUp!” (organized by “Heartefact”) happened at several locations, and included film and exhibition program. Festival originated from the need for a reaction to the present moment refugee crisis and the situation in the world, began on the 7 th of December at Gallery “G12 Hub” in Belgrade with two days performance that was dedicated to the current problem of refugees and their historical destinies.
