She seeks to utilize her feminist art to spread awareness on mental health issues. Sravy is a nomad in her own right, and throughout her experiences in Asia she has noticed that there are stimas surrounding women's autonomy and how they handle mental health struggles.

March 26, 2020, a day that most people will remember as the day that Colorado began enforcing the “Stay-at-home” order. Suddenly, grocery stores would be ransacked of milk, eggs, and toilet paper. All of the “essentials” of course. As panic buying plagued the population of Colorado, many others began to fear for completely different reasons.

*We would like to thank everyone who who participated in a very successful first Butterflies for Bealtaine* For the month of May, we invited all ages to creatively respond to the theme of The Butterfly and to share a change they wish for on a personal, community or global level. In Ireland as in many parts of the world we have been in a quarantine situation because of the global pandemic. This environment informed our project.

Exhibition visitors have expressed feelings of uneasiness or even pain and nostalgia when seeing Colored Vases by Ai Weiwei1. The 51 vases that make up the artwork are originally treasures from the Neolithic Age (5000–3000 BCE) and the artist has dunked them in common industrial paint. Why did Ai Weiwei do it?

Three months ago, when New York government officials ordered nonessential businesses closed to slow the spread of coronavirus, high-end retailers sheathed their stores in plywood barriers, as though readying for civil unrest.

In the series The History of Korean Women, Cho's suggests that the cost of that gain cannot be paid for by a cultural amnesia masking the pain and suffering of previous generations. Here the semantic emphasis is on the official - the status of women and their contribution to the survival and growth of Korea. Their efforts have gone uncelebrated due to their relegated status within a five hundred year old social system.

In the 1980s, Holzer and Lady Pink used New York as a backdrop for their artworks: Holzer wheatpasted posters and slogans on walls throughout Manhattan, and Lady Pink spray-painted graffiti on buildings and subway cars. The two also collaborated on a series of paintings on canvas, such as this work, for which Holzer composed phrases and Lady Pink did the painting.

Street Art Projects brings talented visual artists to public events, community groups, and schools, to offer a window into the creative process. Our workshops and projects combine chalk art with story telling, encouraging a deeper understanding between different cultures through the creation of collaborative public artworks. The work is not just about public art, its about making a public places as a focal point for education.

"Brazilian artist Mundano is used to spending his time on the road and in the streets, making art as an act of protest. Known for leaving his colorful works of graffiti on walls around the world, Mundano is especially dedicated to issues of environmental and social justice and spotlighting the overlooked work of Brazil’s trash collectors through his Pimp My Carroça campaign.
