The project consists of an online tool that helps protestors negatively impact the price of a publicly traded stock by using the same sentiment analysis tools used by many stock trading algorithms. In the contemporary stock markets, high-frequency trading bots that continuously buy and sell stocks have replaced human market makers. These bots provide the market with liquidity by being ready to take the buy or sell end of a stock trade most of the time.

From March 29 to April 28, 2012, artist Angel Chen transformed Toronto's Whippersnapper Gallery into a pop-up call centre to field questions on the financial crisis. Over 150 Riot Games Employees walked out of the League of Legends office in Los Angeles in order to protest against Riot Games stance on forced arbitration. They stood out in front of the company's parking lot holding picket signs and gave speeches. The employees asked for forced arbitration to be ended for all past, current, and future Riot employees which includes contractors and in current litigation.
