Kids Helping Kids is a youth hip-hop program run by two NGOs, Hip Hip Saves Lives and Negusworld. Together, these organizations work with middle school and high school students to make conscious hip hop influenced by activist work happening worldwide.

IT’S 7 AM, and a thin layer of mist still hovers over the harbor in Talamone as fisherman Paolo Fanciulli stretches out his nets. Pulling them out of a plastic tub, he examines them section by section, setting the ripped ones aside to be repaired. It’s a time-consuming process—one that’s occupied men from this tiny village on the coast of Tuscany for centuries.

A new comic book with a female rape survivor as its "super hero" has been launched to focus attention on the problem of sexual violence in India. Priya's Shakti, inspired by Hindu mythological tales, tells the story of Priya, a young woman and gang-rape survivor, and Goddess Parvati as they fight against gender crimes in India.

Artist Bryan Lewis Saunders took it upon himself to draw a self portrait every time he took a psychoactive substance. These ranged from zoloft to morphine to marijuana and it is an amazing subjective experience to witness. We can almost get a taste of what each drug must feel like on the inside, at least to Saunders, and an experiment like this raises some important questions like what are drugs and what place do they have in society?

In this game, you own and operate McDonald's. You have the choice to try to operate ethically or make decisions like using genetically modified soy or administering bovine growth hormone. If you go the ethical route, you bankrupt the company and lose. The game then forces players to become "the bad guy" gleefully firing workers, plowing over rainforests, and bribing nutritionists in order to stay profitable.

On October 16, 1964, the artist collective Hi Red Center, clad in sanitation masks and white uniforms and wielding small brooms and toothbrushes, spent several hours meticulously cleaning the streets of the Tokyo district of Ginza, amid the hustle and bustle of a “normal” day.

When the activist group Allt åt Alla wanted to highlight the growing inequality in Sweden they decided to hit the road. A Over Class Safari (Överklassafari) was announced and ticket were sold. The bus ride covered both a working area (Fisksätra) and it's close high-brow neighbourhood Solsidan in Saltsjöbaden. Bus travelers were told to bring cameras and also invited to hear speeches about the Swedish class society and it's history.
