Now What? project has just finished a series of interactive workshops, where global citizens came together to reflect on the global sustainability issues, got inspired and empowered to imagine the world anew through poetry and imagery.
With the focus on the community and climate action, the project is live on social platforms and soon to be a collective street art too.

The artivisit group known as the pirARTes are creating a community art piece of words and images gathered from a series of interactive workshops, where global citizens came together to reflect on the global sustainability issues, got inspired and empowered to imagine the world anew through poetry and imagery. Now What?

The project is live on social media platforms and soon to be live in real life with a national street art display of images and words that ask and try to answer; now what are we going to do?

Timeframe For change

This project seems to be part of a campaign with a clear short-term goal. Short-term goals tend to be things like: create or repeal a law; get a President impeached; make the city administration repair a sidewalk. A campaign with a short-term goal needs a clear theory of change, complete with targets that can be cajoled or pressured into effecting the goal.
The power of the arts to connect - participants were from various backgrounds, however they all had a shared moment of using creative techniques to imagine their Now What world - and many of them hoped for similar things. Using creative activities allows… Participants all had a shared experience of imagining their Now What world - this moment highlighted that all hoped for a similar world and that collectively change……
