If you're a bibliophile you'll get a kick out of the car-turned-library that can be found in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Artist Raul Lemesoff took an old 1979 Ford Falcon, a popular mode of transport amongst the military forces of its time, and transformed it into a mobile library shaped like a tank.
Debuting at Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art, July 14 – September 30 for FRONTart 2018 is ‘The American Library’ by Yinka Shonibare MBE, a celebration of the diversity of the American population. It aims to be an instigator of discovery and debate. The thousands of books in this art installation are covered in the artist’s signature Dutch wax printed cotton textile.
"Our Bookshelf is a social network where people can share their
ebooks as easily as they can share print books. At the moment, most
copyrighted ebooks don't allow you to share them. This is because when
you buy an ebook you don't own the book the way you own a print book.
You own a license to read it on certain devices and most of these
licenses prohibit sharing. We plan to create a new license that does
