A minibus is parked on the side of the road with a series of pipelines wrapped around it. One end of the pipeline is connected to the exhaust port of the minibus, and the other end is put into the car, so that the exhaust gas can be directly introduced into the car, forming a " Street gas chamber". Brother Nuts, the main creator and performance artist of "Street Gas Chamber", said that in fact, this minibus is the epitome of the whole city. People sitting in the car discharge exhaust gas into the city, and the whole city becomes a huge poisonous gas chamber. They hope to make people aware of the hazards of car exhaust to the urban environment through such a way.

Timeframe For change

This project seems to be part of a campaign with a clear long-term goal. Long-term goals tend to be things like: end racism; end homophobia; make the sun stand still in the sky. A campaign with a long-term goal also needs to have some kind of theory of change.
It is a long-term problem because now people cannot leave transportation. So this project is not to solve this problem but to raise people's awareness.

Notes

It can allow people directly to face this problem and learn the bad effects. It is really successful to raise people's awareness.
