Chlamydia dell’Arte: A Sex-Ed Burlesque Favorite

Chlamydia dell’Arte: A Sex-Ed Burlesque
You’ve never taken a sex-ed class like this one!
First performed in the 2009 Philadelphia Fringe Festival, followed by a run in Washington, DC in 2010, and in New York in 2012, CHLAMYDIA DELL’ARTE: A SEX-ED BURLESQUE is Gigi Naglak and Meghann Williams’ re-interpretation of a classic burlesque show. Instead of using textbooks and filmstrips, the ladies use comedy, satire, dance and songs to explore safe sex, sexual orientation, menstruation, and much more. Shakespeare’s famous balcony scene transformed into an episode of mutual masturbation. The ballerina’s worst nightmare…or greatest relief. What your vagina REALLY thinks about birth control options. And a sexy striptease about STDs.

“Impressive: Naglak and Williams are so exuberant and unaffectedly positive about sex that in their hands, none of the material seems dirty.” –The Washington Post “An extremely raunchy, wide-ranging “Sex-Ed Burlesque” which somehow manages to feel sweet and naive at the same time.” –Philly Fun Guide (4.5 out of 5 stars) “Combines the racy, raunchy, and outlandish with some truly thought-provoking moments.” –Washington City Paper
